The 8-week programme

This programme provides a structured, clinically guided pathway for women who want to resolve pelvic floor symptoms or rebuild strength safely and progressively after pregnancy.
It is not a one-off appointment.
It is a step-by-step rehabilitation process, built around assessment, re-assessment and measured progression.
You will begin with an in-depth clinical consultation, where we take a full history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and carry out an internal pelvic floor examination where appropriate and with your consent.
From there, we work together across eight follow-up sessions to restore function, strength and confidence in a way that is specific to your body.
Throughout the programme, your progress is:
• reviewed
• recorded
• adjusted
• and progressed based on how you are responding
This ensures your rehabilitation remains targeted, appropriate and measurable.
• One in-person, comprehensive initial clinical consultation, held in Arrington, SG8 0AG
• Internal pelvic floor assessments (where appropriate and consented to)
• Eight personalised 45-minute follow-up sessions
• A corrective exercise programme tailored to your symptoms and lifestyle
• Ongoing assessment, progress tracking and symptom monitoring
• Regular progression and modification as your strength and control improve
Each session builds on the last. Exercises are not static or generic, they evolve as you do.
Pelvic floor rehabilitation is most effective when assessment, exercise and progression are combined. This programme is designed to move beyond isolated exercises and provide ongoing clinical input as your body reacts to momentum, adapts and strengthens.
This programme is suitable if you:
• are at least 6 months postnatal
• have noticed pelvic floor changes approaching/during menopause
• are experiencing pelvic floor symptoms such as leakage, prolapse symptoms, core weakness or reduced confidence in movement
• want a clear, structured plan, rather than isolated advice
• are ready to commit to consistent rehabilitation over 8 weeks
This programme is not be suitable if:
• You are less than 6 months postnatal
• You are currently pregnant
• Your symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening or unpredictable
• You have constant pelvic pain, significant pain with everyday movement, or pain that consistently flares with light activity
• You have new or concerning symptoms such as:
• unexplained vaginal bleeding
• inability to pass urine or stool, or new retention
• numbness, weakness, or neurological symptoms
• signs of infection (e.g. fever, severe pelvic pain)
• You have had recent pelvic/abdominal surgery (typically within the last 6 months) unless you have been medically cleared and this has been discussed in advance
• You need hands-on manual treatment at every session and are not comfortable with follow-up rehabilitation being guided through exercise and progression
• You are seeking support primarily for weight loss or appearance-focused goals, rather than function, symptoms and strength
I aim to see all new clients within 3-4 weeks of programme purchase. All of my appointments are conducted Monday-Friday 0930-13.30. No exceptions.
This programme is not appropriate for everyone.

If, following assessment, a different approach is recommended, this will be discussed openly with you.
